C) the skull on the right
Eyes positioned on the side of an animal's skull generally represent a prey animal (relying on peripheral vision to watch out for predators). Forward facing eyes are positioned for binocular vision which predators need for depth perception and tracking prey. Animal teeth are an great way to determine diet. "Flat" teeth are ideal for grinding down plant material (herbivores) whereas carnivores exhibit large canines and sharp, shearing teeth in the back of the mouth. Omnivores contain both sharp canines and sharp "grinding" molars ideal for eating both plants and animals.
Deer = herbivore (plant eater), prey (eyes positioned on side)
Bear = omnivore (plant/animal eater), predator (eyes forward facing)
Cougar = carnivore (meat eater), predator (eyes forward facing)
